Great little fact sheet moving forward for buyers. This flyer is actually for Georgia, but it’s true in NC as well (It’s Form 201, Exclusive Buyer’s Agency Agreement) We have always had this form, only we were not required to have it signed until we committed an offer to writing if we had a verbal agreement to represent the customer. That is no longer the case. You will need to sign a buyer’s agency agreement before ANY agent from ANY firm can open the door for you(with the exception of open houses) Please don’t just walk away from an agent that has been talking with you because they ask you to sign this form as well as the Working With Real Estate Agents form. The next one you call will require it as well. The terms are negotiable (contrary to the news, they always have been). If you don’t want a long term commitment right away then ask for just the time you are seeing homes. It will have to be changed if you decide to make an offer on a property(It must last until your transaction is completed) You will also have to have a conversation about compensation and what that now means for you as well. If you are speaking with an agent about your real estate needs, start this conversation now and sign the WWREA & the buyer’s agency agreement so the agent can work for you. Once again this is true for EVERY real estate agent no matter what company they work for.

Sometimes I have to pinch myself to believe this job and life are real…can you imagine yourself living this life? Driving through a small stream to get to your gorgeous home with this crazy view??
