Among the many wonderful pairings of items and their new owners at the Nordloh Estate Sale at Snider Ranch in Granby - July 25th & 26th this past weekend, the most goosebumps-inducing one had to be John S Cave Music discovering a 1920s Gibson banjo.

It was a truly meant to be moment of the kind we live for.

During a small lull, Autumn asked some team members to go find and collect special items from a closed-off area we hadn’t had time to sort through yet.

David gravitated to a banjo case and the antique instrument inside. No sooner had he brought it to the sale area than a guy with a Gibson T-shirt walked in.

Being a musician, John knew what this treasure was. After some online research done on the spot, we settled on a price and we all just felt amazed by the timing.

We are thankful this heirloom found an appreciative home with someone who will restore and use it for its intended purpose!

Send us pictures once she’s rehabilitated to her former glory, John. We’d love to see them!
