Costa Rica Challenge: Team Orange vs. Team Blue! 🇨🇷🧡💙

One of my favorite things about traveling with my kids is finding little ways to let them experience the adventure on their own terms.

For our first day in Costa Rica, we split into two teams: Team Mom & Jonas 🧡 vs. Team Sebi 💙. The challenge? Explore, pay attention to everything around us, and photograph anything we could find in our team color.

No perfect pictures required. No telling them what to photograph. Just giving them an idea and letting their creativity take over. 📸🌿

It turned a regular day of exploring into a game and suddenly everyone was noticing the smallest details: butterflies, flowers, pools, animals, art, and things we probably would’ve walked right past.

Sometimes the best family activities are the simplest ones. Give them a little independence, a fun challenge, and room to create their own experience. ❤️

8 buyers. 8 homes. One incredible summer. ☀️🏡🔑

This summer was a busy one and I wouldn’t have had it any other way.

I had the opportunity to help 8 buyers find homes across Maryland, from Frederick County and Hagerstown to Edgewater, Owings Mills, Silver Spring, Lusby and beyond.

One last summer adventure before we officially say goodbye to summer! ☀️💦

We’re wrapping up our Things to Do This Summer series with a day at Harpers Ferry WaterPark and this time, I brought my son along for the fun! 💙

Just about an hour from the Frederick area, this is such a fun day-trip option when you’re looking for something different: water, obstacles, plenty of laughs… and apparently a reminder that my son has way more energy than I do. 😂

One of my favorite parts about living in this area is how many experiences are just a short drive away. From local Frederick favorites to weekend adventures like this one, there’s always something new to discover.
