***WE NEED YOUR HELP***
The ugly truth about being a "No Kill" shelter is that rescues often look elsewhere, helping Kill shelters. Sometimes, adopters too. We are DROWNING right now. We are over capacity, having to rearrange our dogs, finding crates and other creative methods so that we do NOT have to euthanize for space. Sadly, this is close to becoming a reality, as we simply CANNOT KEEP UP and we NEED YOUR HELP. PLEASE SHARE with friends looking to adopt, those who may be able to foster if in county, rescues that might have space, even one dog makes a difference at this CRITICAL POINT. Pictured here is Thor, a sweet and gentle boy. He has lived with other dogs, is house trained, neutered and ready to find a forever/foster or rescue home. ⚠️ Update: this dog has been SURRENDERED to a shelter. The person who found this dog states: "Chesterfield county animal services was able to come get this dog and trap the other dog. They have reached out to contact information on microchip but haven't heard back from owner. Anyone who is missing this dog should contact Chesterfield county animal services/animal shelter within the next 15 days."

Please spread the word so we can reunite this found dog with its family! FOUND on June 26, 2025 in Moseley, VA 23120 near Duval and Skinquarter Rd

Description: Yellow shorthaired corgi/terrier mix. Approx 10 lbs. Was seen with another dog similar in color and stature but other dog was fluffy. Other dog was not caught and was last seen near 20400 Duval.
