And just like that… Monday afternoon brought NEW OWNERS to this beautiful home in Estates of Chancellorsville! 🏡🎉

Double closing Mondays are always a great way to kick off the week!
My seller put so much hard work into getting her home ready for the market, and it definitely paid off. Once we accepted an offer, the search for her next home began, taking us across multiple counties until we finally found the one that checked every box.
Yesterday was closing day for both the sale of her home and the purchase of her new one! There’s nothing better than helping clients through every step of the process and seeing it all come together.

Coinciding settlements are doable, but sometimes they can be tricky because there is a domino effect. If the first domino doesn’t fall, none fall. This one did get a little hairy, but all agents worked together and the first domino finally fell and it turned out to be a double closing Friday!! Congratulations to my sellers (who were also buyers) on their new home!!! Wishing them nothing but the best!

Double Closing Friday! 🎉🏡

Closing #2 today was extra special because it was filled with so many emotions for my first-time homebuyers.

After looking at several homes, we kept running into the same challenge—it would be the perfect home for one spouse, but not quite right for the other. Then we walked into this house, and I immediately knew. The look on both of their faces said it all. This was THE one.

Of course, it ended up in a multiple-offer situation, and unfortunately, I had to make the heartbreaking call to tell them we didn’t get it. I may or may not have gone home and told my husband, “I hate to say this, but I hope their deal falls apart!” 🫣🤣

Not because I wished anything bad on anyone, but because I knew in my heart this was their home.

About five days later, I got the call that the contract had fallen through. Making that call to my buyers to tell them they had another chance was one of the best moments ever!

Fast forward to today—we closed! Watching their excitement and seeing them get the keys to the home they fell in love with was absolutely priceless.

Sometimes things have a way of working out exactly as they’re supposed to.
