Anne Sutemeier, Mitch Smith, Blake Edgerton, and Kendall Bell enjoyed a great afternoon with the Texas Alliance of Land Brokers—good people, good conversation, and an especially timely program on the New World screwworm outbreak in Texas, though eating lunch and looking at images of screwworms and flies wasn't ideal. 🫣

Our speaker shared important information on what ranchers and landowners need to watch for, how screwworm can affect livestock, wildlife and pets, and the response efforts underway across the State. With confirmed cases now affecting multiple Texas counties, staying informed is especially important for those of us who live, work and sell land in the Hill Country.
One of the things we appreciate most about TALB is the opportunity to continually learn about the issues that directly affect Texas land, agriculture and the people who care for it.
