When I finished college, I moved back in with my parents to save money.
Like many young professionals, I wanted to advance in my career, so I took a higher-paying job in another state and rented an apartment.
At first, it felt great—I had my own space and I loved my work.
But every year, my rent went up, and my neighbors were noisy.
I started to feel like I was throwing money away. I wanted more—privacy, stability, and a place that was truly mine.
I decided to buy my first home.
I had a great job, a new car, and good savings.
I thought getting a mortgage would be easy.
But when I applied for a loan, I was denied.
My credit profile wasn’t where it needed to be, and I had no idea it would be a problem.
It was a huge setback.
I felt frustrated and overwhelmed, wondering when - or if - I would ever own a home.
Instead of giving up, I took action.
I researched credit repair, contacted credit bureaus, and disputed errors.
I paid off debts and set up payment plans for the rest. It took time—about a year—but I was determined!
When I applied again, I was approved instantly!
I bought my first home, and it was one of the best decisions I ever made.
My mortgage was half the cost of my rent, I gained tax benefits, and I built equity that still benefits me today—23 years later.
The journey wasn’t easy, but I learned so much about financial literacy and the home-buying process.
I realized that many professional women face the same struggles—fear, busyness, and overwhelm—when trying to buy their first home.
No one teaches us this in school, and it’s easy to make costly mistakes or face unnecessary delays.
That’s why I became a Realtor, Life Coach, and Mortgage Loan Officer—to help women just like you.
You don’t have to figure it all out alone.
👉 I help professional, goal-oriented women overcome fear, busyness, and overwhelm so they can buy their first home without making costly mistakes or encountering unnecessary delays.
Let’s make your dream of homeownership a reality—together!
