Big congratulations to Elmer and his family on officially becoming homeowners!

After more than a year and a half of searching for the right home, they finally made it to the finish line on Monday. This one was extra special because over a year ago, we were extremely close to celebrating this same moment. But like any real estate deal, it is not over until the keys are in your hands, and unfortunately, we ran into issues with that property that were completely out of our control.
Even through the setbacks, Elmer and his family stayed patient, stayed the course, and trusted the process.

Transactions like this are the ones that really keep me going in this business. Of course, I have to pay the bills and feed the family too, but helping people push through a long journey and finally reach this moment is what keeps the drive alive.

This closing also marks the third family member within the Rivas family that I have had the honor of helping purchase a home here in the Hill Country. That means the world to me. Referrals from my clients are the lifeblood of my business, and they make this career so much sweeter.

You know you’re in the Texas Hill Country when the traffic jam has horns wider than your kitchen island.

There’s just something about seeing a Longhorn under the oaks that makes everything slow down a little. The emails can wait. The errands can wait. Even your coffee somehow tastes better when the view looks like this.

This isn’t a postcard version of Texas. This is the real stuff. Limestone, pasture, old fences, big skies, and animals that look like they walked straight out of a history book.

This one sold the whole Hill Country daydream.

A pink cottage, turquoise trim, a sidewalk shaded by trees, and a name like Buy Buy Birdie? That’s not just a shop. That’s a personality with a porch.

Boerne has a way of doing this to you. You stop for lunch, wander Main Street “just for a minute,” and suddenly you’re imagining a slower life with old houses, local shops, creek walks, and absolutely no rush to get back on the highway.

Tag someone who would 100% say, “Let’s just peek inside,” and then come out 45 minutes later with a bag and a new life plan.
