Closing day isn’t always just ch*****ne and keys.

This family had lived in their home for years, a place full of memories, milestones, and a very beloved dog who didn’t make it to closing day. 🐾

Before we handed over the keys to their new home and next adventure, we framed a photo of their sweet pup in the yard of their first home so a piece of him could always stay in the home he loved too.

Because real estate isn’t just transactions. It’s life. And sometimes, it’s honoring the ones who were part of it.

She hadn’t planned on going. The morning had its own agenda errands, a to-do list, a dozen small reasons to stay close to home. But something made her pause. A photo she’d seen online, maybe, or just a feeling. A little whisper that something worth seeing is out there waiting. So she got in the car, typed in the address, and drove.

She didn’t expect to feel it the moment she stepped inside.
But she did.

It wasn’t the architecture, though the architecture was breathtaking. It wasn’t the finishes or the light or the way the rooms seemed to breathe. It was something underneath all of that, a feeling that this was a home where things happened.

She walked through the kitchen and imagined holiday mornings. Every chair filled, something wonderful in the oven, grabbing drinks from the island refrigerator, the sound of others running down the hall. She had never had a kitchen that kind of abundance. She had always hosted in spite of her space, not because of it.

She thought about summer evenings by the pool. About visitors coming and not wanting to leave. Finally having a workshop, a garden, a patch of earth to call their own, (4.57 acres to be exact). About dinner on the terrace as the sun went down over the trees, a cold drink in hand, nowhere to be, nothing pressing, just the long, exhale.

She saw three generations visiting under one roof, not out of obligation but out of genuine desire, because this home had room for everyone and made everyone feel at home.
