Next Home Realty Select

I was born and raised in Des Moines, Iowa; influenced with the Real Estate world for most of my life, I knew this was eventually going to be an avenue I ventured some day. But first, I attended New Mexico State University earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary, Special Education with a Minor in Counseling and Educational Psychology. I believe the particular skill set I learned throughout this course of study has enabled me to develop and employ a unique insight to each person’s individual design with certain needs to be met and I value working with honesty and integrity throughout the process.

I entered the REALTOR® world in order to create a lucrative career after spending the past twenty years homeschooling my own two children. I love sharing my passion for relationships and I like to think I cater to each of my client’s unique situations, on an individual basis, and I hope to provide a pleasant experience that will overshadow any less-than-stellar real estate relationship a person may have already had.

After moving to and living in Texas for over 10 years my family and I were ready for a change. With much research regarding demographics, topography, and financial viability of several different areas, the choice was to move to Virginia, making it home. I live in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley with my husband, two children, two cats, and a dog who I refer to as “the son I never had”. We live on a small farmstead that is currently comprised of three cows, six goldfish, and a myriad of chickens. In my free time I love to garden, learn new skills, and, most importantly, spend time with my family and friends.

I hope we can be friends too.
