My mom worked in real estate in Northern Virginia as a broker's assistant for many years & I loved being around it. After I graduated from college, my parents told me I had to get a "real job" & since they had paid for my education, I complied. Upon graduation, I joined corporate America as a financial analyst. Once my babies came, I became the office manager in my former husband's law firm for 18 years. When my marriage ended, I had to find a new job & a dear friend reminded me that I always loved real estate. I finally got to be what I wanted to be when I grew up! In 2021, I sold 44 homes totaling over $16 million. I received the 2020 Good Neighbor Award from the Fredericksburg Area Realtors Association. My sales ranking for L&F NOVA/WV region was 9th out of 1700 agents, 43rd in the Fredericksburg region of 1200 agents and I am fortunate to be ranked in the top 5% nationwide for sales. It is a privilege to be given the opportunity to be involved in this part of the journey in people's lives. I take that responsibility seriously. In my off hours, I enjoy being with family & friends, walking my dogs and kayaking. I am a greeter & volunteer at my church for baptisms. I am on the board of a service dog foundation, Leashes of Valor. They train rescued dogs to be service dogs for veterans. I donate $250 of each sale to their organization. I create weekly videos for dogs at the animal shelter for adoptions. Helping in the homeless community is something I am passionate about as well.
