An important update for the mortgage and appraisal industries: Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac have announced a temporary implementation waiver for UAD 3.6 requirements through May 19, 2027.

The additional time will give lenders, appraisers and other industry partners more time to prepare for the transition to the updated appraisal framework.
