One of the things I love about our local business community is how willing people are to step up and help each other!

Dylan and I have been reaching out to businesses about our Hometown Realty Coat Drive, and we've had some wonderful businesses offer to get involved!

Local Businesses, We'd Love Your Help!

Dylan Lewis and Nealy R. Harding - Realtor are teaming up with Hometown Realty Fredericksburg for our Community Coat Drive benefiting Community Threads, and we're looking for local businesses throughout Fredericksburg, Spotsylvania, and Louisa to join us!

We're collecting new and gently used coats for adults and children through November 30.

There are three easy ways your business can help:

Level 1 — Community Supporter: Share our coat drive or display a flyer.

Level 2 — Drop-Off Partner: Offer your business as a collection location.

Level 3 — Employee Coat Drive: Get your team involved in collecting coats.

No financial commitment needed, just a willingness to help!

We'd also love the opportunity to meet more local business owners, learn about your businesses, and support one another beyond this coat drive.

A little lazy Sunday morning over here! Laptop open, dogs sprawled out across the bed, and I’m getting some planning done without having to get up. ☕️😂

I’m working on our November 12 The Louisa County Social Collective event, Connections That Count: Referral 101, and we will be looking for a local business that would like to host us!

I’d love to find a business that wants to open its doors, show off its space, and meet some other local business owners.

When touring a 55+ community starts feeling a little less like “client research” and a little more like… taking notes for myself. 😂

I had the chance to tour Twin Lake Villas and get a closer look at the homes, the community, and what buyers should really consider when looking at 55+ living.

As a REALTOR®, I want to understand more than just the floor plans and finishes. I’m learning the pros, the cons, the costs, the lifestyle, and the little details that can make one community a great fit for one buyer — and not necessarily for another.

And since 55 isn’t exactly that far away for me… I may have been paying extra attention. 😏

The goal: when a client tells me they’re considering downsizing, simplifying, or moving into a 55+ community, I can help them ask the right questions.
