This quote couldn’t be more true. We are stronger than we think we are when we HAVE to be..and we become stronger from overcoming those hard times...each of us go through our own trials in life that will continue to mold us into stronger humans...

This time of year is always a little emotional for me..11 years ago today, my husband had for a stroke while I was 9 months pregnant with our first child. I wasn’t sure he was going to live to see our first baby girl. I thought nothing could top that in making me stronger and having to help him learn to talk and walk again-but I was wrong-just one year ago today I found my husband unresponsive. He was rushed by ambulance and placed in trauma ICU, where he underwent an emergency stomach surgery -to seal a hole in his stomach from a perforated ulcer. He spent a few weeks in the ICU fighting for his life while on a breathing tube.

I had to make the decision to leave my position to take care of my family-and with my husband out of work-I fought hard to pay our bills-it’s moments like these in our lives when things are put into perspective-and when we find strength beyond ourselves. I will never forget the angels in this IG community who helped strengthen my spirit and who said prayers on our behalf and had us in their constant thoughts. We are incredibly blessed to have him heathy and well.

Friends...WE CAN DO HARD things...life can get hard...but we are STRONG! We can overcome those difficulties and rise above! 😍
