Yesterday I had the honor of teaming up with Shannon Jansen and her crew at Practically Magic Cleaning Services on a job that mattered.
A $3 million Airbnb on the island had been left in the hands of someone who wasn’t a professional cleaner, and in just four to six weeks the damage and financial loss for that owner had piled up fast.
Shannon’s team usually handles move outs and commercial cleaning, and my team lives and breathes short term rentals. Put those two worlds together and in less than a day or two we turned that home completely around. Deep cleaned, reset, and ready to shine again for guests. This is exactly why it matters who you trust with your property, especially when you’re not local to it. Homes like this one deserve professionals who know what they’re doing, who catch what an untrained eye would miss, and who treat someone else’s investment like it’s sacred.
I’m so grateful this island is full of local businesses who choose partnership over competition. When Shannon and I combine forces, it’s not about who’s in charge, it’s about showing up for our community and for the owners who put their trust in us. That’s the heartbeat of what we do here on Whidbey.
