For y’all that live here or who are renting here, go take a stroll down the boardwalk. (It’s open to those living at Seahorse Estates or who are part of the Beach Club).

Take a moment to look and to quietly watch out in the bay and up on the pier. It’s worth it(and you get your steps in).

Look who came to dinner tonight!

These two juvenile yellow crowned night herons jumped up outside our kitchen window right in time for dinner. They were as fascinated with us as we were with them. I love their distinctive spots and big eyes.

This is just one of the many species of coastal birds that live here at the Drum Bay Nature Preserve.
