Finally we closed the escrow and sold the property to the new buyer! Final selling price: $80,000 all cash price, no closing costs to the Buyer. Took about 8 months? Seller is naturally ecstatic about finally getting released from this financial burden. Short sales are pretty rough and brutal, and seemingly take forever.

Had a little drama at the last minute re: the sego palms. Note to Self: never allow valuable plants like Sego palms be removed from a property EVER! Well, at least we got it resolved just in the nick of time.

This was a super long escrow. The original bank/lender sold the loan to another servicer halfway through the escrow, and didn't really tell us. They also had us increase the selling price to reflect the current market price since they took so long to make up their minds about the offer we originally had!
