Okay... buckle you seat belts guys. We're going to talk about PMI!

PMI (Private Mortgage Insurance) is an additional cost added to some monthly mortgage payments. It is typically required on conventional loans unless you put 20% down.

The amount of the monthly PMI charges depends on 4 factors: size of the loan (higher loan = higher PMI), your down payment amount (higher down payment = lower PMI), your credit score (higher credit score = lower PMI), and the type of mortgage (adjustable or fixed rate mortgage).

You should also know that FHA and USDA loans also have mortgage insurance. VA loans do not have mortgage insurance!

I don't care if you are Marie Kondo herself! Every kitchen needs some cabinet to hide things in. LOL

Maybe that's just me... What do you guys think?

Open Shelving 🍽 all the way? OR do you prefer Traditional Cabinets 🚪?

It doesn't matter what your relationship status is buying a home doesn't have to mean throwing down roots. I know MANY savvy investors who own homes in other states because it is one of the best wealth building tools available to us. When you start to look at the home buying process from the lense of financial freedom all that fear of commitment tends to melt away.
