BUYER REPRESENTED

In real estate, it’s easy to celebrate the wins—the listings that sell quickly, the record prices, and the successful closings.

What doesn’t get talked about enough are the opportunities where you give everything you have, work tirelessly for your client, and still can’t achieve the outcome they hoped for.

About a year ago, I took on this listing and did everything I could to get it sold at the price the seller wanted. Despite our efforts, we couldn’t get there, and eventually the listing expired.

While it would have been easy to move on, I continued looking for opportunities, and remained committed to finding solutions and clients.

Today, that commitment came full circle. I was able to bring the buyer, get the property into escrow, and successfully close the sale.

A reminder to anyone chasing a goal, building a business, or working hard toward something meaningful: not every effort produces immediate results. Sometimes the reward comes months or years later. Sometimes the work you’re doing today is laying the foundation for a future opportunity you can’t yet see.

Stay the course. Do the right thing. Serve people well. And don’t give up just because success doesn’t happen on your timeline.

The outcome may be delayed, but the effort is never wasted.
