I’ve cooked so much food, I’ll never eat and I’m pretty positive I’ve over watered every plant I have left alive. That’right, a few gave their lives on this holiday weeks end!

7 years ago, we began a new life together.
All on our own. We struggled through moves, new schools, a working mom, a missing parent
We went without basics and sometimes without groceries, when I could keep it from my parents…. I borrowed and begged and prayed to god we’d survive and you wouldn’t hate me by this phase of our lives.
We made this life together, you have both given me so much. 🤍🙌🏻
You have supported every move I’ve made with the ex*****on and confidence that I could not fail, written all over your hearts and souls.
You’ve grown into the most incredible humans caring, kind, and so compassionate on this journey of ours
So let’s celebrate how far we’ve come, how well we recovered and how much we’ve built!
Our first plane ride and island experience together takes off tomorrow.
We grow ourselves with each new experience and I’m so grateful to have the opportunity to physically see this evolution take place in real time…

From extensions, to fedex deliveries, bank trips, tears a lot of tears…
Phone conversations reaffirming, encouraging and so much praying.🙏🏻

Happy birthday to my middle!
Ricky, this year the evolution of you made full circles. The kind and care you take for all of the ones you love, is something I can literally feel. As the emotion of your love for your family is just that, palpable. 🤍
As I learn to take a step back, to watch you become this bigger version of yourself
You’re always ever so mindful of catching me up and letting me in.
You draw firm lines around your beliefs and the treatment in which you allow others to take with you. Maybe this is what leaves me the most awestruck. I have so much respect for the love and respect you show yourself.

I never could have imagined that raising boys
