Small Business Spotlight #1 🙌💪😁
I’d love to introduce you to Stacey Hicks, a wonderful client, friend, and small business owner here in DFW! Stacey and her incredible family moved to the Metroplex from Las Vegas in November of 2022. Stacey is an Entrepreneur and Independent Brand Representative for, Rodan + Fields. Codey: “Stacey, can you share with me your story on how you got started with Rodan +Fields, and your journey since you’ve started and where you are today?”
Stacey: “I was a new mom of 2 and a dear friend shared this opportunity with me because it had made such an impact ON her and FOR her family, she thought it might be a fit for me and our growing family as well. She was right!! I started my business to create the flexibility to be more available for my kids, AND I wanted better skin!!! When I started almost 4 years ago, we had just had our daughter and my son was only 3 years old. He needed speech and other therapies as a toddler and creating an additional stream of income for any unknowns, without having to be away from my family, was an opportunity I couldn’t pass on. I fell in love with my own self-care routine, the gift to share it and then seeing the impact it had on others. Our business rewards you for working hard and for helping others, the reason I LOVE what I do! Helping others reach their goals has become a passion, it’s amazing what we can do together!”
Codey: “What are your goals and what does the future look like for your business?”
Stacey: "My outlook for our business is to continue to grow our expanding markets by growing our field team, which means growing new leaders!!! I’m so passionate about helping others discover what’s possible and the leader inside them! We are rated #1 with only a 30% brand awareness, which means these life changing product solutions and/or our small business opportunity could be a fit for so many more in our communities. I see our team helping the brand reach the same heights we reached in skincare in the newly entered haircare category by serving as many people as we can! Also, on a home front, my goal is to continue to set an example for my kids to think outside the box, work hard and always help others. Surrounding myself with other like-minded, driven and passionate entrepreneurs gets me so fired up because we have so much FUN, and I love learning from them too. I’m in the business of relationship building and sharing. I want to leave an impact on my relationships because I know that I’ve been blessed with some very impactful women on my journey, personally and professionally, and my heart wants to pay it forward!"
