Dear Home Buyers!

Starting August 17th, a Realtor will not be able to take you out to tour a home without you first signing a Buyer Agency Agreement.
As your Realtor, I have a fiduciary duty to all my clients and I am required to uphold the Realtor Code of Ethics to the letter!

The Buyer Agency Agreement is the contract between you and your Realtor saying that you are hiring them to help you through the transaction of purchasing a home, and that you both agree to the roles, duties and responsibilities owed to each other throughout the length of the transaction. This is something both of us will sign and agree to after going through an interview/consultation.

These agreements have been around for a long time in Texas, but now this will be implemented nationwide as a result of the recent NAR lawsuit.

Compensation Agreements are and always have been negotiable!

Remember, interview your Realtor, and make sure you are using someone you trust as a professional who will keep your best interest in mind as you make the biggest financial decision of your life.

Purchasing a home is a wonderful way to build wealth. Aside from that, being a homeowner is the American Dream, and owning property is a goal that many people strive for!
