For some couples, buying separately could actually be a smart strategy.

🏡 Partner #1 buys a primary home
🔑 Lives in it and builds equity
đź’° Later, that home may become a rental
🏡 Partner #2 may still qualify for certain first-time homebuyer programs
❤️ Later, you buy your next home together
đź’µ Meanwhile, the first property may be generating rental income and building equity

Now instead of owning one property, you could potentially be building wealth with two.

Is this right for every couple? No. Your loan type, income, occupancy requirements and the specific homebuyer program all matter.

But that's the point...

Don't assume there's only one way to buy a home.

There are companies everywhere offering tax protest services right now, but most charge a percentage of your savings if they win.
