When you're touring a home, it’s so easy to fall in love with the pretty finishes and miss the little details! 🏠✨

While nothing replaces a full home inspection, doing a quick walkthrough check helps us spot potential red flags before you make an offer.

Here are 9 easy things to keep an eye out for:

Ceilings: Keep an eye out for water stains, fresh paint patches, or bubbling.

Windows & Doors: Open a couple as you walk through. Sticking isn't always a dealbreaker, but it's worth noting.

Tile & Grout: Look for soft spots, cracked grout, or dark stains near water sources.

Electrical Panel: Snap a photo of the panel label for your inspector. (Just leave the panel door closed!) 🚫⚡

Water Flow: Turn on a faucet and flush a toilet. Check for weak pressure or slow drains.

Yard Drainage: See which way the yard slopes and look for standing water near the foundation.

Attic: If it’s open, just peek from the ladder for daylight spots or damp insulation. No climbing required!

Major Systems: Take quick photos of the labels on the water heater and HVAC so we can check their age.

Floors: Pay attention if the floor feels bouncy, sloped, or has repeated cracks.
