The $250 million project will span over 17.85 acres adjacent to Craig Ranch and will be anchored by the new Kaizen Development eight-story office tower. In addition to office space, District 121 will offer retail, corporate and restaurant development, along with other uses such as a hotel and an open lawn area called The Commons. The Commons will offer a stage with an LED screen and sound system, areas for outdoor gas fire pits and lawn games. It will be privately maintained and owned by District 121 but publicly accessible, officials said.

The AT&T Byron Nelson tournament is not the only exciting event in McKinney slated for May.

Hub 121, an 85,000-square-foot mixed-use development featuring up to 10 restaurants and bars, is on track to open just in time for the action at nearby TPC Craig Ranch.

According to Shane Jordan, part-owner of McKinney HUB 121 LLC, the project will deliver “outdoor family fun” with a full menu of entertainment options.
