Property tax has been a very hot issue these past few years. Importantly, for the 2025 protest season, we are seeing some of the gains in 2021 and early 2022 (that the appraisal districts were quick to capture) slip away in some markets the last half of 2022 and in some cases into 2023. The appraisal districts may be slow to recognize this trend.
