The PGA of America, headquartered in Frisco, Texas, is an association of more than 30,000 trained golf professionals dedicated to elevating and advancing the game for the enjoyment of everyone. These professionals work around the world, teaching millions how to play golf and how to manage golf facilities.
The PGA TOUR is an organization of tournament-playing professionals and is an organizer of professional golf tournaments throughout the country. The PGA TOUR is headquartered in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida (a suburb of Jacksonville).
When golfers say "PGA", they are typically referring to PGA of America. If you live in Frisco or the surrounding areas, it will be good to know this information.
