Last summer, this sweet couple reached out to tour their first home together. We hit it off immediately and looked at a handful of properties, but after weighing it all, they made the wise decision to rent for another year and keep building toward their goal.
A month ago my phone rang, and they told me they were ready. And friends, they were READY.
From the very first showing this time around, I could tell something had shifted. They came prepared at every turn. Pre-approved, clear on their must-haves, decisive on what was a no, and locked in on their long-term vision. They asked the right questions, moved with confidence, and trusted the process.
We saw a few homes, they found the one, and even in a multiple offer situation we were able to negotiate $8,000 toward their closing costs.
Sitting at the closing table today, I had zero doubt in my mind that this is just the first of many properties they will own. These two think like investors and move like leaders. I actually told them they would make incredible realtors one day, and I meant every word. I may have just talked myself out of a future client by saying it, but if real estate ever finds its way onto their path, it would be an absolute honor to walk alongside them.
