Are you looking to sell your home? Have you done your own inspection before the buyer brings in a home inspector?

Here are a two tips you might want to consider before you put your house on the market.

Tip #1: How old is your roof? Have you had it inspected for hail or storm damage in the last 6 months? If not, you may want to have it inspected.

Tip #2: What does your foundation look like? Is the soil separated from the foundation? Do you have cracks in the brick or inside your house? If yes, you may want to get your foundation inspected.

When buying a home, one of the main issues to be considered is the foundation. Especially here in Texas. The foundation should be inspected thoroughly. Cracks or unevenness in the foundation can lead to moisture damage, dry rot, corrosion, and shifting of the house. Any of these issues can be very costly to correct. That's why a good home inspection is very important!!
