To Phil Johnson and Darlene Johnson,

When I think of John MacArthur…

I think of Phil Johnson.

And when I think of Phil Johnson…

I think of John MacArthur…

Like inseparable (but not identical) Twins 🙂

And when I have listened to John MacArthur on the radio…

As I pulled over in my car many many days and nights to listen…

I’d always hear Phil‘s voice right there with announcements coming in at just the perfect time.

Phils voice would accompany John’s and close out all of the sermons so wonderfully or introduce them so graciously with such comfort and care.

We thank God for you and Darlene.

We thank God for the great times we had here in North Texas with you both.

Thank you for teaching at our church plants through the years.

They were some of our best times in ministry!!

Thank you for the good laughs in our home and staying up late (probably later than normal) and being such gracious guests.

Remember the cheesecakes!!?

We would like to do that all over again one day!

But …Time on earth is all too short…isn’t it!

But one fine day we will sup and have better than cheesecake around the Kings banquet table, I’m sure of it!

We love you both.
