There’s a tiny community in Tallapoosa County, Alabama, with a name you won’t soon forget—Frog Eye. 🐸

According to local legend, the name dates back to an old saloon that sold both legal liquor and moonshine. A ceramic frog supposedly sat in the window as a secret signal. When both of its eyes were open, customers knew it was safe to ask for moonshine. If one eye was closed, it meant law enforcement was nearby—and everyone knew to keep quiet.

Whether every detail is true or the story grew taller with each retelling, Frog Eye remains a real unincorporated Alabama community with one of the most unusual names in the state.

A years difference of just one room.
From sleeping 2 now 4.
Three different TV’s, two different TV stands, three different remotes, a lamp & decor, a much better bed & bedding, a hideaway cot (not pictured), and a floor mattress.

What once was once my son’s room, then bare as a bone, now feels much more like an Airbnb Home.
