Some closings are about houses.
Some closings are about family.

This week, I had the privilege of helping a daughter transition a cherished home to its next chapter. While we signed papers and completed a transaction, I know this day represents so much more than that. It's the closing of a chapter filled with memories, traditions, laughter, and a lifetime of moments shared within those walls.

There were stories, memories, and reminders of a life well lived. Those are the things that make this job so much more than real estate.

Maybe it did.

But did it have:

✔️ Renovated bathrooms?
✔️ Better lot features?
✔️ Different timing?

The truth is every home has its own story.

Every seller wants to blame interest rates.

But when homes are priced correctly and show well...

They still sell.

The market isn't broken.
Buyers are just more selective than they were a few years ago.

If your home isn't getting showings, offers, or serious interest, it's usually one of three things:
