Some of the best sandwiches in the Shenandoah Valley come from West Main Market & Beer Garden here in Luray.

I’ll be honest, I had never been before but my daughter, Amber, really wanted to go. So, after filming a listing tour, we went!

Once we got there, I was hooked. It’s mainly outdoor seating with a few barstool seats inside. The outside is covered with lots of fans for good airflow (and honestly, great parking area, too).

They have live music Thursday-Sunday, and shorter hours from Sunday-Tuesday. And just a heads up, they’re closed on Wednesdays!

Now, let’s talk about the food. The food was delicious! They serve up sandwiches and salads with all homemade sides (think: macaroni salads, coleslaw, potato salad, etc). From hot and cold deli sandwiches to fresh off the press paninis, they have plenty of options to choose from. And honestly, don’t sleep on their salads - they’re packed with toppings and fresh add-ins!

I got the Fresh Mozzarella Grilled Panini - it was very good! You could taste the freshness with each bite. Amber went for the Steak and Cheese sandwich, and Jamie got the classic Reuben. All of us were very pleased with our choices and I think it’s safe to say that we will be back!
