The Woman's Club of Fullerton is presenting EMPTY BOWLS to benefit Meals on Wheels.
MOW approached us about handling this fund raiser. After many questions and vetting the board and membership voted to adopt this new fund raiser.
We felt good about it. Shortly after voting in this event, we learned that federal funding for MOW was significantly cut. Now, we're even more gratified to be able to support MOW.
It's a grassroots fund raising event where the attendee enjoys a simple bowl of soup and leaves with a handmade ceramic bowl as a reminder of how they've helped usually elderly home bound folks who may experience food insecurity and very often loneliness
The volunteers of MOW, many having done this important work for decades, feed the body and the soul of the vulnerable.
We thank you for purchasing a ticket. We thank Fratellinos, Rutabegorz, Mulberry Street, B&C Burgers & Les Amis for the donations of their delicious soups.
