There is a first time for everything 😢. I could not attend settlement with my buyer because the time for settlement was significantly adjusted 😭.

My client was still taken very good care of because one of my favorite & trusted settlement officers handled the closing.

She got her keys and that’s all that matters now ☺️. Congratulations hunny!

Only certain lenders have the authority to apply for grants to cover closing cost and down payments. I interview buyers before taking them on as clients and some want grants, but they are pre-approved with a lender that is not authorized to apply for grants. I’m not a fan of switching lenders, but my obligation is to my buyer and if my buyer wants grants, we switch lenders. No disrespect.

The $15,000 home purchase grant reduces the amount of money you will need up front to buy a home. The $20,000 home purchase & renovation grant reduces the amount of money you will need up front to buy and renovate a home. These grants do not need to be repaid.

Ask your loan officer about Reinvest Baltimore Down Payment Assistance, offered by Neighborhood Housing Services of Baltimore. It’s up to $20,000 in down payment assistance for homebuyers interested in purchasing in communities across Baltimore. There are only 150 grants, so find out from your loan officer how to qualify.
