I'm so proud of our brave Century 21 Triangle Group - Fuquay Varina, NC team members and their sponsorship of Special Olympics! Well done, Rebecca Savitski, Russell Coperito, and Stephen Votino!

Zoning, permitted uses, lease structures, 1031 timelines — commercial deals don't follow residential rules. Talk to a commercial specialist before you commit. How can I help?

Another commercial deal in the books! This one for a multi building care facility in Dunn. It’s always a pleasure co-listing with Michelle Waite Real Estate and serving our favorite landlord/seller.

I remember being a bright-eyed twenty-something, excited for my brief training stint at my engineering firm’s World Trade Center headquarters. Even for this Jersey girl, commuting the hour and a half to travel those 20 miles felt like a big deal. It required multiple modes of transportation: walking or driving to the train station, taking the train to Hoboken, and then joining the throngs in drab trench coats descending to the PATH for the subway under the river or, on nicer days, catching a pricier ferry to Lower Manhattan. I loved the ferry for the soul soothing of the water and the magnificent views the of New York skyline and the Statue of Liberty.

Once landed, there was still a bit of a hike to Tower 2 and the final hurdle—two elevators: the first up 73 floors, and the second to the 92nd. Despite the beige, cubicled office, the 360-degree view from 1,000 feet was spectacular. My favorite? Looking back toward New Jersey, south over the Hudson harbor, past Staten Island to the Sandy Hook pen*sula and the northern beaches of the Jersey Shore. As a budding birdwatcher, the sight made me long to be windswept and salt sprayed at some favorite birding spots.

Today, we honor and remember the heroes who rushed in to save those mere mortals (like me given a different decade), simply at work that day. We acknowledge the sacrifices they made and continue to make—many still suffering, battling illness, and even losing their lives in the aftermath.
