Without all these key marketing pieces working together, you will be less successful as a luxury real estate agent. We explain to our clients that we need to have every piece of the marketing pie working together so they get maximum advantage. For example, you might be an ace at Facebook advertising, but if you’re not using direct mail or phone calls to agents, then your marketing efforts are going to fall short. Your listing might be priced well, but if no one is seeing it, then the price doesn’t really matter. It is necessary to have all of the pieces together.

Yesterday was a special closing day because I had the privilege of helping one of my favorite clients—and now dear friends—make her second real estate move with me!

A few years ago, I helped Cassie move from Bexley to a beautiful new build in Hilliard. At that point in her life and career, it was exactly the right move.

But life has a funny way of changing what “home” means to us.

Fast forward to today, and Cassie is an aunt to two amazing kiddos who are growing up way too fast. She wanted to be closer to her niece and nephew—to be there for the little moments, the big milestones, and all the memories in between.

So when we found a home on the same street as her brother, she knew we had found something pretty special. ❤️

The house had the right updates, a private backyard, and was in the part of town she loves—but honestly, I think what made it the one had very little to do with the house itself.

It was about family.

It was about being close enough for spontaneous visits, birthdays, holidays, backyard memories, and all those everyday moments that become the stories we remember forever.

Yesterday, we closed on that perfect home—and I think we officially secured Cassie’s spot as the World’s Best Aunt. 😉

Thank you, Cassie, for trusting me once again to help you make a move that means so much more than simply buying or selling a house. It has been such a privilege to be part of your journey through two different moves and two different chapters of life.

Because sometimes, a home isn't about the four walls, the finishes, or the backyard.

🏡 Today was one of those days that reminds me why I love what I do. ❤️

Today, I had the incredible honor of helping one family say goodbye to a home filled with years of memories, while helping another family begin making memories of their own.

Robin and Darrell reached out to me as they prepared for an exciting new chapter—moving to North Carolina and building a new home. Before their Reynoldsburg home ever had the chance to hit the market, we started talking about who might be the right people to love it next.

At the same time, I was helping Nick and Jess find their first home together. They had just gotten married in March, and as we toured homes and talked about what they were looking for, it became clear that Robin and Darrell’s home might be the perfect fit. ❤️

And somehow, it all came together.

With the help of family and friends, we were able to bring these two families together and sell the home before it ever hit the MLS.

But today wasn’t just about closing on a house.

It was about Robin and Darrell turning the page and heading toward their new life in North Carolina, taking with them all the memories they made in this home.

And it was about Nick and Jess opening the door to their very first home together as newlyweds and beginning a whole new chapter of their own.

There’s something pretty special about knowing that a home that meant so much to one family will now become the backdrop for another family’s story. I can’t wait to see all the new memories Nick and Jess create there. 🏡❤️

What makes this even more special to me is that somewhere along the way, my clients became friends. I’m incredibly grateful to Robin, Darrell, Nick and Jess for trusting me, for allowing me to be part of such an important moment in their lives, and for making this transaction so much more meaningful than a typical real estate deal.

What Moves You? ❤️🏡

This week was one of those reminders that real estate is so much more than buying and selling homes...it's about people.

I absolutely love helping my neighbors with their real estate goals. But no one tells you what happens when your neighbors become family...and then they decide to move to North Carolina. 😭

For the past 12 years, Chris and I have been blessed to live next door to Bob and Jackie. If you've ever met them, you know exactly what I mean when I say they are the heart of Venetian Way.

Need someone to organize the Christmas block party? Jackie.
Neighborhood get-together? Jackie.
Halloween candy? Jackie.
Jello shots? Definitely Jackie. 😂

She has this incredible way of making everyone feel welcome—with a hug, a smile, and a laugh that could brighten anyone's day.

And Bob? He's the neighbor everyone hopes to have. Need a tool? He's there. Need help running a drainage line, cutting down a tree, or tackling a project you probably shouldn't have started? Bob is already walking over before you can even ask.

And then there are Woody and my sweet girl, Gigi. Those two kitties always knew when I had treats...or when it was time for cuddles. I'm going to miss seeing their little faces just as much as I'll miss their humans.

When we moved here 12 years ago, Jackie was one of the first people to welcome us with open arms. She showed me what being a neighbor truly means—not just living next door, but building a community, showing up for people, and loving others without expecting anything in return.

Helping sell their beautiful Gahanna home was truly an honor. We were able to get it under contract in just 4 days, but if I'm being honest...this is one sale I secretly wished would never happen.
As they pull out of their driveway today, there will be a little piece of Venetian Way leaving with them. They'll be missed more than words can say.

Thankfully, this isn't goodbye forever. It's just another excuse to plan trips to Ocean Isle, North Carolina, make new memories, and probably enjoy a few more of Jackie's famous jello shots.
I still blame Mr. Rogers. He taught us to be good neighbors, but he never warned us how hard it would be to say goodbye to great ones.

Jackie, Bob, Woody, and Gigi...thank you for 12 amazing years of friendship, laughter, kindness, and memories. We love you all more than you know.

What Moves You? 🏡❤️

When I got the call from my friend, Wendy, I knew this wasn't just about selling a condo—it was about helping her family through an important transition. Selling her mom's Gahanna condo meant making sure every detail was handled with care, professionalism, and a clear strategy.

Wendy had high expectations, and together we created a game plan that delivered. I'm excited to share that this week we officially closed on the condo, and it's ready to welcome its new owner!

One of my favorite parts of this story? The buyer will be living next door to one of my past clients, whom I had the privilege of helping move into the community a few years ago. It's always rewarding to see these connections come full circle. Here's to new neighbors, new friendships, and new memories!
