Hey all, it’s that time of the week again to post and my topic this week is about being complacent. I will be the first person to tell you I am guilty of it, and reflecting back on it is the best way to learn from my mistakes.. As a Realtor, it is my responsibility to myself to stay consistent and keep working, so my pipeline is full at all times. When I get a home into contract, it is easy to get lazy and be satisfied with what just happened, but it’s not what I’ve just done that matters, it is what I am going to keep doing from that point forward to keep business flowing. Real Estate is a “what have you done for me lately“ business. The ways I have improved on being complacent is by setting goals, making my calls, & consistency. I think being complacent can happen in any job, but being able to admit it, learn from it, and grow from it is what will separate you from the rest. I am making a vow to post weekly. I want to share my success, failures, and all things real estate. I just received a hand written “Thank You” from a past client, it is rewarding to hear thank you over the phone, but when someone takes the time to write it on paper, put a stamp on it and send it through the mail, it just hits different. We worked on this deal while the buyer was on vacation in a different country, so our communication was limited, but we worked together to make the ultimate goal happen... to buy a house. I am grateful for the opportunity to service friends and family.
