Please don't get SCAMMED!! I do not list property for sale or rent on craigslist. Ever. Most of those rental ads are scams using stolen info and realtor's names, but the contact you send a deposit to is the scammer. A friend alerted me to a craiglist rental listing that features stolen images, text, and my name from my for sale listing, which is now under contract and definitely NOT for rent. And it's definitely NOT my contact info, though it is attached to my name in order to make it appear legit. This is really, really common. Tell your friends.

Join the Freak Island Clown Marching Band this Saturday for the FLYING PIG PARADE!! All ages and abilities welcome, no experience or talent required, just a willingness to clown around and have fun!

Saturday, December 30th, at 2 p.m.
The parade lines up in Bo Diddley Plaza, where SE 1 St. meets University Avenue at 1 p.m. At 2, we will begin marching south on SE 1st St.
As always, Castle Rainbowskull will be open starting at 10am on Dec 30th for anyone that needs help with makeup, costumes, or just wants to hang out with a bunch of clowns at the coolest clown house in town The lineup is just a few blocks away, so we can all walk down together and hang out at the plaza or on the porch afterwards. I'm delighted to share that I'm adding to the Simplify Home Organizing team! Could you please like and share this post? I'm getting ready for the busy season of January through Spring!

I'm looking to hire 3-4 new Assistant Professional Home Organizers, with 1-2 positions that will have the opportunity to become Lead Professional Home Organizers. This is independent contractor/gig work with no specific number of hours guaranteed. There is, however, room for growth and mentorship if you'd eager to learn. ✨

It's fulfilling and rewarding in numerous ways since you'll get to transform clients' homes, helping them to live with more ease and joy. ☺️

The ideal candidate:

✨Has excellent communication skills, ideally with some knowledge of NVC/Compassionate Communication

✨ Has a loving heart and unending amount of patience

✨ Has mostly open weekday availability. Most sessions are three hours long, usually from 10 am to 1 pm, though sometimes from 1-4 pm.

✨ Has reliable transportation and the ability to travel within a 30-mile radius of downtown Gainesville. (We do occasionally have clients in Ocala that you get paid a little extra to travel to, though you can always decline projects.)

✨ Is physically and energetically able to work for three-hour blocks of time which includes tasks like physically moving lots of items and carrying donations to the car.

✨ Is highly intelligent and proactive, using these skills to find creative solutions to systemic problems in clients’ homes. You must be a "figure-it-outer"!

Our projects vary in size and scope. Here are a few examples of typical projects: helping a client clear out a home in order to prepare it for sale or for tenants; decluttering after a life change (such as a move, marriage, divorce, new baby, career change, etc.); unpacking and organizing moving into a new home; downsizing; decluttering.
