For Homecoming, some people come back to Gainesville. We’re lucky enough to already be home. 🐊

For 31 years, JBPro has been proud to call Gainesville home, and we love being part of a community that comes together to celebrate the University of Florida — especially with so many Gator alumni on our own team.

Enjoy the Homecoming festivities this weekend, and Go Gators! 🧡 💙

The JBPro team recently joined members of the University of Florida Board of Trustees for a site visit to the Jennings Creek stormwater improvement project.

Years of erosion had begun to threaten nearby campus infrastructure, so UF brought in our team to help stabilize the creek, address the failing stormwater headwall, and protect the surrounding area.

The project also supports UF’s broader stormwater goals and will restore the site with native plantings that align with the UF Campus Landscape Master Plan.

We’re proud to provide civil engineering and landscape architecture services on this project alongside Wetland Solutions, Inc. and BBI Construction Management, Inc.

Through our continuing services partnership with UF, we’re grateful to help improve and protect the campus for years to come.

We’re excited to officially introduce Subsurface Utility Engineering, or SUE, as the newest addition to JBPro’s services! What’s underground can have a major impact on what happens above it. Our SUE team helps identify and map existing utilities before they create conflicts during design or costly surprises during construction.

🔎 Utility Investigation & Mapping
🤝 Utility Coordination & Conflict Resolution
📍 Survey Integration
📋 Support for Agency Permitting & Design Requirements

Adding SUE allows us to support our clients even earlier in the project process and bring another important service under the JBPro roof.

Backpacks packed and ready for a new school year! 🎒📚

To help local students start the year strong, our team partnered with Children’s Home Society of Florida Greater Gainesville for a back-to-school supply drive benefiting Howard Bishop Middle School.

Thanks to the JBPro's team and collected more than 500 school supplies and filled 8 backpacks for students in our community! We’re grateful for every chance we get to give back and support students across Alachua County Public Schools.

Special thanks to our Human Resources Director Shelbi Malphurs, our Administrative Assistant Camryn Figueroa, and Cassera Hutchinson, Community Partnership School Director for their huge efforts in spearheading our supply drive.

Wishing students, teachers, and families a great school year. Go Hawks! 💙

Last week, the team got together for another fierce round of the JBPro Olympics: Pentathlon Edition! This time, the team competed in a series of five events from potato sack racing to tower building to an intense game of capture the flag! Although we went home with a couple pulled hamstrings and a few sunburns, we're grateful to have the chance to bond with our coworkers and engage in a little friendly competition. 🏆

Check out some of the photos from the event!
