Lisa, along with her husband, Jason, and two children, Jackson and Mckinley, have lived in Gainesville since 2013. ❤️ WELCOME TO TEAM MOM, KAMALA! ❤️

We are so excited to officially welcome Kamala to the Team Mom team!

Kamala is incredibly hardworking, brings such a positive energy wherever she goes, and genuinely cares about the people she serves. With more than 10 years of customer service experience and a degree in Business Leadership, communication and taking care of people come naturally to her and it shows in the way she approaches real estate.

A true Alachua County local, Kamala has called this community home since 1995 and grew up in High Springs. In 2026 alone, she has already helped 10 families and closed more than $2 million in sales volume!

And because Team Mom is about so much more than real estate, we have to introduce the family too! Kamala and her high school sweetheart, Japa, met at Santa Fe High School in 2008 and have been together for 17 years. They have a three year old daughter and love spending time outdoors exploring the springs, hiking, paddling, traveling, and enjoying everything our local community has to offer. Japa is also a talented local nature photographer who captures the beauty and wildlife of Alachua County.

We know Kamala is going to be an amazing addition to our team, and we cannot wait to see everything ahead for her.

Birthday month celebrations continue! 🎉💪

October is my favorite month, so naturally, we’re celebrating ALL month long with some fun workouts!

A great GACAR General Membership Meeting! 🏡

I had the opportunity to present as GACAR’s representative on the Stellar MLS Advisory Council, sharing some of the upcoming changes and updates to our MLS system. One of the most important parts of this role is being a voice for our local members, so please keep the feedback coming! If there is something you would like to see changed, improved, or added within Stellar MLS, let me know. That is exactly what the Advisory Council is there for.

We also announced our 2027 election results, and I’m so excited for everyone stepping into leadership next year! I’ll be entering my year as GACAR’s President-Elect, and I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity to continue serving our association and our REALTOR® community.

A special thank you to John Thomas with Ronald McDonald House Charities of North Central Florida for sharing the incredible work they do for families in our community and the many ways we can help. ❤️

And don’t forget those POP TABS! Lisa Baltozer came prepared with a collection of tabs ready to hand off to John at the meeting, which was a great reminder of just how easy it is to help. Simply save the aluminum tabs from your soda and other cans in a jar, bag, or container. Once you’ve collected them, you can drop them off anytime directly at the Ronald McDonald House. They weigh and recycle the tabs, and the proceeds go right back to supporting the House and the families they serve. Such a small thing to save that can add up to make a real difference!

I love being part of an association that is focused not only on making our industry better, but also on making our community better. Excited for what’s ahead in 2027!
