I’m all too familiar with the challenges faced by people moving into the Gainesville area who need to work on very short timelines to find somewhere to live. As a licensed real estate referral agent I specialize in helping academic and medical professionals at UF Health Shands Hospital and the University of Florida, consulting with them and referring them to specialized agents who will help them get where they need to go. I donate a portion of my proceeds from each sale to the Congenital Heart Center at UF Health Shands Children's Hospital in Gainesville, Florida. As a lifelong writer, my experience runs the gamut. I’ve been a newspaper stringer, a humor columnist, a YA writer, a blogger, and more. Several of my YA manuscripts have won awards. My work has appeared in Inman News, The Christian Science Monitor, The Denver Post, and Colorado Parent Magazine. I write about things that matter to me. I have a real estate website about life in Gainesville. I’m currently working on a book about the slaveholders and enslaved people of Alachua County before Emancipation. Life is short!
