This one is going to stick with me for a while🥹

These amazing clients came to me by way of a referral from my friend and colleague Joe Azer, someone I respect immensely and I’m so grateful he trusted me with these amazing sellers!!

We started this journey right before Memorial Day, and my sellers did EVERYTHING and then some to get this beautiful home on 5 acres in Fauquier County ready for the market.

We hit the market Memorial Day weekend with SO much interest. At one point, we had 3 possible contracts coming our way……..and then………..nothing😩 The contracts never showed up. The interest slowed down and all the while, rates kept creeping up. We still had showings, open houses, and tons of positive feedback, but for whatever reason, the right buyer just wasn’t showing up.

Sometimes in real estate, you have a house that somehow lands in what I call ‘no man’s land’. It doesn’t always make sense. You can market it, advertise it, hold opens, follow up, reverse prospect, adjust, pivot and do everything you know to do, and sometimes you just have to KEEP PUSHING 👉🏼👉🏼👉🏼

And I’m not going to lie, this one was hard for me. I felt like I was failing my clients even though I knew I was doing everything in my power to get their home sold. There’s a lot of blood, sweat and tears behind the scenes in this business, and yes, REAL tears and lots of them!!

But THESE SELLERS ❤️

They trusted me and through frustration they stayed positive and never gave up. They also never pushed back. They did every single thing I asked of them and just kept the faith that we were going to get it done, AND WE DID👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Their beautiful home is officially SOLD and they can finally move on to their next chapter in North Carolina!!

This sale might sting for a little while because I will forever believe this house should have sold a LONG time ago but it truly doesn’t matter anymore. The house is SOLD, my clients can move forward, and I am just incredibly grateful that this awesome family hung in there with me until we got to the 🏁

Real estate isn’t always pretty or predictable. Sometimes you can’t make sense of it. We just have to keep showing up, keep adjusting and KEEP PUSHING FORWARD!!

𝐎𝐇 𝐇𝐀𝐏𝐏𝐘 𝐃𝐀𝐘 🎶 🎵

It’s a glorious day in the neighborhood!!! Today, we closed on my sweet client’s home and she is off for new adventures in North Carolina!!!

Michelle came to me by way of referral from another awesome friend and client of mine!! We started this journey several months ago, we met up and mapped out a plan in order to get her journey to North Carolina started. In all honesty, this has not been easy!! What should have been a house that sold the very first weekend on market, didn’t quite go as planned!! We had tons of interest, awesome feedback, but no offers!! Of course rates started to increase and more time passed, but Michele remained patient and never lost faith!!!

The right buyer came along like they always do, and today we were able to close Michelle‘s chapter in Centerville!!  It was an absolute honor and privilege helping her on this journey and I’m so excited for her next adventure - being close to her precious grandbabies❤️
