I won't give you the typical "stay safe" message, we are all trying to do that. I will give you a few things I've learned in the past 48 hrs that you may not have heard.
Turn your frig and freezer as cold as they will go, it'll help when we lose power. Freeze some water bottles now, that'll help keep things cold.
Drain some of the water out of your pool now, if you have one, while the pump is working. Then turn the pump off so it doesn't suck air. Not like we need to worry about keeping the pool clean for the next couple of days....
According to the internet, it doesn't help to tape your windows. If they get hit, they'll break into thousands of tiny pieces which is bad. But if you tape them, they'll break into larger dangerous projectiles....
And one last reminder that I already knew.... Pray for everyone in it's path.
