Elaine grew up in Atlanta, Georgia and moved to south Florida after receiving a graduate degree from the University of Georgia. She has worked as a public servant/professional problem solver and lived in the metro Washington area for the past 34 years. She believes in giving back to the community and is a volunteer ski instructor for all ages with disabilities at a local ski area.
