Gallatin, Tennessee’s first-ever “Autumn on the Square” festival takes place on September 12th, bringing a little early fall fun to the heart of Historic Downtown Gallatin. From 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., Public Square will be filled with pumpkins, fresh and dried flowers, seasonal decorations, local vendors, and live music while visitors shop and enjoy the historic downtown setting. Along with fall goods and handmade finds, the day will include pie-eating contests, chili cook-offs, hands-on classes, and other activities that give families and friends plenty to see and do.

The festival is hosted by Apple & Dove Flower Co., a family-owned Gallatin flower shop whose fresh-cut blooms are grown on its farm in nearby Portland, Tennessee. Apple & Dove also operates a local retail collective featuring goods from area vendors. With food, flowers, music, shopping, and plenty of old-fashioned small-town fun, Autumn on the Square is shaping up to be a great way to welcome fall in Tennessee.
