🏠🌊 Galveston & Texas Coast homeowners — this is worth paying attention to.

TWIA is asking for public input as its Legislative & External Affairs Committee prepares recommendations for its upcoming report to the Texas Legislature.

For those of us who live, own property, or work in real estate along the coast, windstorm insurance affects A LOT — affordability, monthly costs, insurability, and ultimately our property values.

The committee meets Tuesday, September 1 at 1:30 PM, and the public can participate and make comments.

If you have concerns or experiences with TWIA that you think our state leaders need to hear, this is an opportunity to speak up.

I know windstorm insurance is a BIG topic here on the Island, so I wanted to make sure everyone saw this.
