Fun Facts! She sits in the harbor now in Galveston.

The 1877 Tall Ship ELISSA voyaged to New York City to celebrate the 100th birthday of the Statue of Liberty on July 4, 1986. Now, exactly 40 years later, the ELISSA will return to the Big Apple this July 4th to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the signing of the U.S. Declaration of Independence, alongside hundreds of tall ships and military ships from around the globe. 🇺🇸
