Happy Monday!

This landlord & Realtor, tries very hard to make exceptions because I ❤️ pets.

You would be surprised how pet restrictions affect a home owner, tenant and landlord.

That being said, pets can make it hard to find a rental property, both long and short term.

Many HOA's especially condos limit the size of pets, or completely restrict pets.

Many Realtors do not check the pet restrictions before showing property.

Our co-managed vacation rentals are all pet friendly, for no extra charge.

Everyone's fur babies need a vacation!

I wanted to take a moment to explain why landlords don't always welcome pets, with open arms.

It's not because they are being unkind, it is simply due to insurance restrictions, on specific breed and untrained pets.

As a 20 year veteran landlord/ Realtor I suggest you make sure you have exemplary referrals from past landlords, train your babies, and please PICK UP after them!

Another suggestion is crate training. This is NOT cruel. It's actually how your pet feels safe, when you are at work.

This is especially key if you are traveling. Pets experience anxiety, when they are in someone else's home.
