This 2 bdrm/1 bath beach house is the perfect place to spend a relaxing beachside vacation. Custom blinds, hardwood floors and other features not typical to a vacation home. Living Room has a 55" flat screen TV with DVD and Satellite, comfy couches and incredible windows facing the ocean. Dining Area has seating for 6 at table plus breakfast bar/counter seating for 2. Kitchen has a gorgeous stainless steel refrigerator and more dishes, glassware and cookware than you could ever need! Master Bedroom has a queen size tempurpedic bed for the best rest you've had in years! Beautiful furnishings and a wall mounted flat screen TV make this the perfect place to lay your head. Guest Bedroom has a full bed with a twin loft above it and a second twin bed against the opposite wall. With it's own wall mounted flat screen TV, this is the perfect 2nd bedroom for guests, kids or the grandparents. Bath - Newly tiled floor with cute "beachy" furnishings and plenty of cushy towels. Covered Deck - With patio table/seating for 6 to enjoy your meals outdoors. PLUS 2 of the most perfect lounging chairs we could find. The perfect place to enjoy your morning coffee or an evening meal with the sounds of the ocean in your ears. Covered Area - Includes a patio table, BBQ grill, outdoor shower and access to garage space with washer/dryer and space for beach stuff. Though we can't guarantee what will be here at the time of your visit, you are welcome to use any coolers, rafts or other beach items in this space. Yard - Backyard is fenced for Fido and gives him plenty of room to run around and play. Front yard has ample room for horseshoes or washers. The palm trees in both the front and back provide the perfect atmosphere for your beach vacation. Other Features - Central A/C & Heat, Ceiling Fans, Hardwood Floors, WiFi, Satellite TV, DVD & Custom Blinds. As you will see, this is not your typical vacation house. We have lovingly furnished it with comfort in mind. We can tell you from experience, there is nothing more relaxing than enjoying a drink on the deck while listening to the sounds of the waves and the seagulls. We are a short 1/2 block to the beach! 1.5 miles of west end beaches will be renourished in a project being undertaken as a partnership between the Texas General Land Office (GLO), the City of Galveston and the Galveston Park Board of Trustees. Dredge material from the Galveston ship channel will be used to renourish the beach from Sunbather Lane to 11-mile road.
